KARAKTERISTIK INTERNAL GURU KEJURUAN

The main objective of this research was to find out the relation of teachers’ internal characteristic to vocational teacher stress in Medan Vocational Senior Sigh School. The survey was conducted at senior high school in Medan, by taking 102 sample of teacher. The population of this study was all of vocational teacher in Medan that teaching at senior high school. Questionnaire was used in finding data of this research., and analyzed by using computer. The result of this study reveald that there was a negative relation of the role preparedness and teacher stress, a negative relation of job satisfaction and teacher stress, a negative relation of life satisfaction and teacher stress, a positive relation illness symptoms and teacher stress, a positip relation of locus control and teacher stress, and a positive relation of self esteem and teacher stress.
