HUBUNGAN ANTARA PEMANFAATAN SUMBER BELAJAR PERPUSTAKAAN DAN KOMUNIKASI INTERPERSONAL DENGAN HASIL BELAJAR SOSIOLOGI SISWA KELAS X SMA SWASTA SE KECAMATAN SUNGGAL

This research aimed to know (1) the relationship of using library learning sources with the achievement of the students on Sociology; (2) the relationship between interpersonal communication with the achievement of students on Sociology; and (3) the relationship between using of the library learning sources with interpersonal communication simultaneously in learning achievement of students on Sociology.The method applied in this research was a correlational method. The sample of this research was 105 students in grade X of SMA Swasta in Sub District of Sunggal, that determined by proportional random sampling. The research instrument is questionnaire and learning achievement test. The applied analysis method is a simple regression and multi correlation. The result of research indicated that the average of using library learning sources of students was 115.9; interpersonal communication of students was 126.7; and the average of learning achievement of students was 76.6. The result of analysis and testing hypothesis concluded that; (1) there was a significant positive relationship between using of library learning sources with learning achievement of students on Sociology with rcount 0.294 and tcount 3.122 and contribution for 8.6%; (2) there was a significant positive relationship between interpersonal communication with the learning achievement of students on Sociology with rcount 0.282 and tcount 2.983 and contribution for 8.0%; and (3) there was a significant positive relationship between the using of library learning sources with with interpersonal communication simultaneously in learning achievement students on Sociology with R for 0.315 and Fcount 5.659 and the collective contribution for 9.9%. As follow up, in order to increase the learning achievement of students on Sociology, the students must use the the library as sources of learning to get more required information and to increase the interpersonal communication.
