Abstract

This study aims to (1) Explain the procedure for developing interactive media basedon PBL using the Geogebra application to improve the numeracy literacy skills of elementary school students. (2) Analyze the validity level of interactive media based on PBL using the Geogebra application to improve the numeracy literacy skills of elementary school students. (3) Analyze the practicality level of interactive media
based on PBL using the Geogebra application to improve the numeracy literacy skills of elementary school students. (4) Analyze the effectiveness level of interactive media based on PBL using the Geogebra application to improve the
numeracy literacy skills of elementary school students. This type of research is research and development or what is commonly called R&D (Research and Development) using the ADDIE development model. This research was conducted
in the 2024/2025 academic year. The subjects in this study were 30 fifth grade students of UPT SPF SDN 101990 Bangun Purba as the experimental class and 30 fifth grade students of UPT SPF SDN 101997 Bandar Gugung as the control class.
The data collection techniques in this study used interview, questionnaire, test and observation instruments which were then analyzed using qualitative and quantitativ descriptive data analysis techniques. The results of this development research show: (1) The development procedure starts from the analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation stages, (2) The product validity test by language
experts obtained a score of 84% with a valid category, material experts obtained a score of 82% with a valid category, media experts obtained a score of 83% with a
valid category, (3) The product practicality test by grade IV educators obtained a score of 97% with a very practical category, grade V educators obtained a score of
94% with a very practical category, grade VI educators obtained a score of 90% with a very practical category, and the product practicality test by students obtained a
score of 88% with a very practical category, (4) Product effectiveness test based on teacher activity at the 1st meeting was 92% with a very good category and the 2nd
meeting was 91% with a very good category, observation of student activity at the 1st meeting was 88% with an active category and the 2nd meeting was 89% with an
active category, the results of the N – Gain score of the numeracy literacy ability of control class students were 0.20 with a low category and the results of the N – Gain
score of the numeracy literacy ability of experimental class students were 0.47 with a medium category, the results of the significance of the 2 – tailed post test t – test
were 0.000 (<0.05) with a significant increase category; and the results of the student response questionnaire at the 1st meeting were 88% with a good category and the results of the student response questionnaire at the 2nd meeting were 89.5% with a good category.
