Abstract
The aim of this study is to determine how the Show and Tell method is implemented in the English Class for Junior High School This method can in fact be applied to several classes such as writing, reading, listening and of course speaking. However, this method is more widely used in the first class of SMP 29 Medan students for descriptive qualitative speaking classes. According to Creswell (2003), one of the objectives of qualitative research is to understand participants' perspectives on events, situations, and actions related to them, as well as the explanations they give about their lives and experiences. This was done
because the purpose of this study was to determine how teachers implement the Show and Tell method in classrooms according to what was expected and how the Show and Tell Method is implementing in English Speaking Class for Junior High School it affects the student's speech learning process.Students seemed interested in the Show and Tell method applied according to the rules and procedures, they
seemed compact and serious in following the learning, they seemed confident in speaking in front of the class and present objects they liked according to the materials, there were several students who opened the dictionary to seek the
meaning of the words. This Show and Tell method is effective but must be carried out according to the steps.
