DEVELOPING DIGITALWORKSHEET ‘QUIZWHIZZER’ IN TEACHINGWRITING PROCEDURE TEXT AT SEVENTH-GRADE STUDENTS SMP NEGERI 3 PERCUT SEI TUAN

The study aimed to develop a digital worksheet using QuizWhizzer in teaching writing procedure text. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 3 Percut Sei Tuan using the research and development (R&D) model by Borg and Gall (2003). The subject of this study was 33 seventh-grade students at SMP Negeri 3 Percut Sei Tuan. This study collected the data through observation by observing at the
existing worksheet, interviewing the English teacher, and distributing questionnaires to 33 students. Based on the data gathered, the students needed appropriate writing tasks for a Procedure text topic because their writing skills
were limited, and they were more likely to be unmotivated and passive in class. The digital worksheet created with QuizWhizzer can help students practice writing skills while also encouraging active participation in the teaching and
learning process through games. The two experts validated the worksheets created for the students. The average score of the generated student's worksheet was 93.5%, indicating that it is excellent and suitable for teaching writing methods.
