Abstract

This research aims to analyse the feasibility, response, and effectiveness of student worksheet with a scientific approach on the classification of living things. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) research with 4D model, namely Define, Design, Development and Disseminate. The subjects of this research are science teacher use student worksheet with scientific approach. Data collection was carried out by observation, interviews, instruments in the form of questionnaires, while data analysis used quantitative descriptive analysis. The results of the study show that this product is included in the very feasible category with an average score of 93.3 based on the assessment of material experts, the very feasible category with an average score of 87.2 based on the assessment of learning experts and the very feasible category with an average score of 86.1 based on the assessment of design experts, the very feasible category with an average score of 97.1 based on the teacher's response, while the best category with an average score of 92.7 based on the responses by students. The effectiveness of this product was tested on students in class VII-B based on the N-Gain test and obtained the high category with a score of 0.72, while the most developed thinking indicator was to make inferences through the N-Gain test for each critical thinking indicator.
