Abstract
This study employed a qualitative methodology, utilizing the framework established by the Ministry of Education and Culture. The research instrument used documentation. Documentation research is a methodically with reference to written materials, such as books, figuration, documents, files, and images. The researcher actively engaged in reading, gathering, and analyzing data for this study. The results of the study show Pancasila student profile was released by the government, focusing on internal student elements related to national identity, philosophy, and ideals. The Pancasila student profile is comprised of 20 indicators spread over six dimensions The implementation of Pancasila student profile values in the English textbook is categorized in two different methods in this study, content and assignment. The study aims to explain the dimension of
Pancasila student profile that found in the English textbook and to analyse the implementation of Pancasila student profile values categorized in English textbooks based on Merdeka curriculum for eight grade of SMP Negeri 8 Pematangsiantar. Content analysis is the method employed in this research. Book authors may employ other indicators in the development of textbooks and in their teaching and learning activities to fill in the gaps left by missing indicators.
