Abstract

The focus of this study was to describe the learning models used used by teacher in teaching English at Tenth Grade Students at SMK Sinar Husni Medan. The research of this study used a qualitative descriptive method. The data of this study were taken from the transcription of field note and transcription of tape recording from the English teacher when teaching in the class. The data was collected through observation, and interview. It was analyzed using Miles, Huberman, and Saldana (2014) framework. In this study, it was find out that the teacher used Project Based Learning model in teaching English. As a results, the findings of this study indicated that the teacher used the learning models and implemented all of the indicators in accordance with theory.
