Abstract
Based on the results of hypothesis testing this study aims to determine the effect of the guided inquiry learning model assisted by google classroom to improve student physics learning outcomes on sound waves material. This type of research is quasiexperimental with a population of all XI MIPA class students of SMA Negeri 1 Tanah Jawa totaling 5 classes. The sample of this study consisted of 2 classes determined by purposive sampling technique, namely XI MIPA-1 class of 36 people as an experimental class using a guided inquiry learning model assisted by google classroom and XI MIPA2 class of 36 people as a control class using conventional learning model. After treatment in each class, the average post-test score in the experimental class was 80 and the average post-test of the control class was 73.70. Based on the results of hypothesis testing, it is known that the results of tcount > ttable, namely 2.60 >1.67, it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of guided inquiry learning model assisted by google classroom to improve student physics learning outcomes
