Abstract
This study aims to determine; (1) Knowing the process of developing learning media for electric lighting installation trainers using the R&D development model. (2) Knowing the results of validity (feasibility) of learning media for electric lighting installation trainers. The type of research used is research and development (Research & Development). The procedure for making this media includes; 1) Potential and Problems, 2) Data Collection, 3) Product Design, 4) Media Validation, 5) Trainer Product Revision. The validity test of the trainer was carried out by 4 expert lecturers and teachers, namely 2 material experts and 2 media experts. The validation results obtained are material validation 1 with a percentage of 78.75%, material validation 2 with a percentage of 81.25%. The results of media expert validation 1 with a percentage of 73.75%, media expert validation 2 with a percentage of 85%. The average validation results of material experts with a percentage of 80% (very feasible), media experts with a percentage of 79.37% (very feasible). So it can be concluded that the electrical lighting installation trainer developed is valid (feasible) to be used in electrical lighting installation subjects at SMK TR Sinar Husni.
