Abstract
Cici Lia Mariana, 7161220006, The Effect of Economic Growth, Regional Original Revenue from General Allocation Funds and the Excess of Budget Financing on Capital Expenditures (Empirical Study in North Sumatra Province 2018-2020). script. Faculty of Economics, State University of Medan. 2022 The problem in this study is the increase and decrease in capital expenditure in North Sumatra Province which is not in line with the increase and decrease in economic growth, PAD, DAU, and SILPA in North Sumatra Province. This study aims to determine the effect of economic growth, Regional Original Income, General Allocation Funds and Excess Budget Financing on Capital Expenditures.The population of this study is the Provincial Government of North Sumatra in 2018-2020. The sample of this research is 32 regencies/cities with purposive sampling method with quantitative research type. The data used is secondary data, namely Regency/City APBD Realization data for 2018-2020 from www.djpk.kemenkeu.go.id and Economic Growth data obtained by the Central Statistics Agency through the website www.bps.go.id. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, partial test (T test), simultaneous test (F), and coefficient of determination (R2).The results partially show that economic growth has a negative and significant effect with a value of 0.000> 0.05 and the value of the t-test = -5.560 < t-table value 1.98638. local revenue has a positive and significant effect with a value of 0.000 <0.05 and the value of the t test = 3.990 > the t-table value of 1.98638, the general allocation fund has a positive and significant effect with a value of 0.000 > 0.05 and the value of the t-test = 4.393 > t table value 1.98638, the remaining over budget financing has not effect with a value of 0.954 > 0.05 and the value of the t test = 0.058 < t table value 1.98638. And simultaneously economic growth, local revenue, general allocation funds, and the remaining excess budget financing for capital expenditures with an Fcount value of 58,095 > Ftable 2.47 with a variable significance of 0.000 > 0.05.
