Abstract

This study aims to determine how learning outcomes, the effectiveness of learning interest and the correlation between learning outcomes and learning interests of grade X students when given the use of Android learning media on chemical bonding material. The research instrument used was multiple choice questions. The number of questions that have been validated is 25 out of 40 questions and the reliability is 0.713. The value of student learning outcomes is obtained from the ability of students to answer questions on the topic of chemical bonding. The results obtained were the pretest results of 47.89 and the posttest of 89.56. Then
the results of the percentage increase in student learning outcomes by 80% and student interest in learning amounted to 85.34%. For the normality test of learning outcomes and interest in learning, the data are normally distributed. From the hypothesis test, data on learning outcomes and interest in learning get results (0.000 <0.05) then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. The data value of students'
interest in learning from their activities while the learning process takes place has a correlation with learning outcomes with the Sig (2-tailed) price of equal to 0.001
<α (0.001 <0.05) with Pearson Correlation value obtained is 0.548> 0.3921 (rcount>rtabel).
