Abstract
Spiritual competencies of students considered very important, because with the development of the spiritual competence allows (1) the student was able to control myself not doing deeds that deviates, (2) students have the urge to do good that could be beneficial to himself and others, and (3) students have a healthy mentality. To develop the spiritual competence as long as it formally became the responsibility of the religious teachers but the results are not optimal. Therefore, it needs the support of stakeholders in school through cooperation in the form of example from various parties, inclusion in the themes of learning, setting the schedule of lessons that allow students to carry out religious orders, the provision of infrastructure and facilities to perform the worship. Barriers that might happened is is (1) not all teachers worthy of being model in competence spiritual, and (2) not all teachers capable of the connect themes learning with spiritual values. Therefore advisable to educational institutions teacher gradually should train students to the connect themes learning with nilai religion. While for teachers areas that already serving in school can present through penataran to associate themes learning with spiritual values.
