PERSEPSI GURU DAN SISWA TENTANG PENGGUNAAN WHATSAPP DAN GOOGLE CLASSROOM SEBAGAI MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN DARING PADA MASA PANDEMI COVID-19 DI KELAS X SMK NEGERI 5 MEDAN

The problem in this study is how the perceptions of teachers and students about the use of whatsapp and google classroom as online learning media during the covid 19 pandemic in class X SMK Negeri 5 Medan. The purpose of this study was to determine the perceptions of teachers and students in the use of whatsapp and google classroom in the teaching and learning process, which will take place online based where in order to be an online-based learning motivation for the future at SMK Negeri 5 Medan. This research is a descriptive research with a quantitative approach. The sample used was 10 teachers and 100 students involving only 1 school by selecting school representatives who applied bold learning during the Covid 19 pandemic. The data collection technique used was a questionnaire/questionnaire. The analytical technique used is descriptive-quantitative analysis which is then interpreted in the form of proportions. The results of this study indicate that the perceptions of teachers and students about the use of whatsapp and google classroom as a medium of courageous learning during the covid 19 pandemic in class X SMK Negeri 5 Medan as a whole are in the fairly good category with a percentage of 73.29% as many as 110 respondents. For the proportion of whatsapp use by teachers, an average of 69.58% is categorized as good enough. For the percentage of the use of google classroom by teachers, an average of 79.58% is categorized as good enough. For the proportion of whatsapp use by students, an average of 72.66% is categorized as quite good. For the percentage of students using Google Classroom, an average of 71% is categorized as good enough.Thus, the perception of teachers and students in the use of whatsapp and google classroom in the teaching and learning process, which will take place online at SMK Negeri 5 Medan is "good enough".
