Abstract
There are still obstacles in history learning, namely the lack of student interest in participating in history learning. History lessons are still considered boring and uninteresting. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of history learning with a role-playing learning model. This research is in the form of analysis results based on surveys conducted on students through questionnaires and at the same time library research as an effort to collect information and data by utilizing written sources in the library such as books, newspapers, magazines, documents relevant to the issues discussed. The role-playing learning model tries to explore the interactive relationship of teachers and students, students and teachers, as well as between students by demonstrating and discussing so that indirectly students can explorer feelings, attitudes, values, and various problem-solving strategies.
