Abstract
The purpose of this study is to understand the function of sipukkah huta in the village of Mariah Dolok. This research was conducted qualitatively with a descriptive approach. The problem studied is about the background and function of the sipukkah huta village in the Mariah Dolok. To understand this problem, a reference to the Functional Structural Theory developed by Parsons. The data needed in this study uses the method of observation, interviews, and photo documentation. The results showed that the function of the sipukkah huta was as a leader and as a place to ask questions and as an example for the community
