Abstract
Job satisfaction is influenced by several factors as personality and non
phisycal environment. The underline of this research is that personality have a role to
make of job satisfaction. Besides that, the comfortable of non physical working
environment have influenced to make employers satisfaction job. But, the non
comfortable of non physical working environment will to appear unsatisfaction job.
The aim of this research is to investigate the influenced of personality and of non
physical working environment at the employers satisfaction job at PT PLN (Persero)
Unit lnduk Pembangunan Jaringan Sumatera-1 (UIP RING SUM-1) Medan.
The research was conducted at PT PLN (Persero) Unit Induk Pembangunan
Jaringan Sumatera-1 (UIP RING SUM-f) Medan with population of employers is 109
people and sample is 52 people. Data collection technicues used is through
questionnaires which uses interval scale of measurement adan statistically processed
using multiple regression analysis with structural equation Y = 10,487 + 0, 430XJ +
0,362X2. which means that if personality and non physical working environment is
zero can explain the job satisfaction of the employers is 10,487 units. With the
coefficient of value determination (R2) is 0,336 indicates that the personality and non
physical working environment cmi explain the job satisfaction of 33,6% and 66,4%
explained by other factors not included in this research.
Based on the test-F obtained value of count F is 12,391 more than value of
table 3, 19, it can concluded that personality and non physical working environment
have influence simultan eously ofjob satisfaction employer.
Based on the test-t obtained value of count/ of personality is 4,130 more than
of table count is 1,676, it can concluded that personality have influence partialy ofjob
satisfaction. And non physical working environment have value I is 2,300 more than
value table is 1, 676, it can concluded that non physical working environment have
influenced partialy ofjob satisfaction.
