Abstract
This study aims to find out the Student Worksheet (LKPD) assessment on Sound Waves topic with the STEM approach. This research uses the 4-D model instructional development design and it limited to the develop stage. The target of the testing in this study in class XI MIA SMAN 1 Perbaungan. Data collection is done with instruments in the form of questionnaires. Data analysis used quantitative and qualitative descriptive analysis. The assessment results showed that the development of LKPD based on the STEM approach from material expert obtained with score 96.43% and the result assessment from education expert obtained with score 95%, and each included to very feasible category. The assessment from
physics teachers obtained with average score is 95.54% and included to very feasible category. The results of individual testing obtained a score of 78.75% with good category, while the results of small group testing obtained a score of 88.75% with good category and the results of large group testing obtained a score of 95.56%
with good category. Physics LKPD with Sound Waves topic based on the STEM approach developed obtains very feasible category and has met the eligibility requirements to be used as a medium for independent physics learning for students.
