HUBUNGAN MINAT KEJURUAN DAN KEPERCAYAAN DIRI DENGAN HASIL BELAJAR MATA PELAJARAN TDO ( TEKNOLOGI DASAR OTOMOTIF )SISWA KELAS X SMK NEGERI 2 BINJAI TAHUN PELAJARAN 2018/2019

This study aims to determine: 1) The relationship between Vocational Interest with TDO learning outcomes in class X Light Vehicle Engineering students at SMK Negeri 2 Binjai. 2) Relationship between Confidence and TDO learning outcomes in Class X Light Vehicle Engineering students at SMK Negeri 2 Binjai. 3) The relationship between vocational interest and confidence together with TDO learning outcomes in class X Light Vehicle Engineering students at SMK Negeri 2 Binjai. This research method is descriptive correlational. The population in this study were all students of class X TKR in SMK Negeri 2 Binjai consisting of 2 (two) classes, namely class X TKR 1 totaling 30 people and class X TKR 2
totaling 30 people. In this case, the study sample was determined by a total sampling method of 60 people. The data of this study were collected using a questionnaire for variables of vocational interest and self-confidence while TDO learning outcomes were taken using tests. The number of instruments of vocational interest and confidence tested was 34 items. In the vocational interest questionnaire there are 28 valid items with a reliability of 0.973 classified as very high, for the confidence questionnaire consisting of 28 valid items with a reliability of 0.913 classified as very high. Data analysis techniques used are product moment analysis, partial correlation analysis and multiple correlation
analysis at 5% significance level. Based on data analysis shows that: there is a positive and significant relationship between vocational interest with TDO
learning outcomes (r = 0.550). There is a positive and significant relationship between confidence with TDO learning outcomes (r = 0.490). The results of the
analysis show that the coefficient of determination between vocational interest and confidence with TDO learning outcomes is R = 0.775. The summary of the
results of the regression analysis is as follows: Fh = 42.185 prices Ft = 4.013 at a significant level of 5%, so that Fh> Ft (42.185> 4013), that the regression
equation Ŷ = 23.445 + 0.375 X1 + 0.324X2, can be accounted for to draw conclusions regarding the relationship between vocational interest and confidence
with the learning outcomes of TDO.
