PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN GENERATIF UNTUK MENINGKATKAN MOTIVASI BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATA PELAJARAN IPA

The purpose of this study is to improve student learning motivation by using Generative learning models in science subjects with water subject matter and their uses. This type of research is "Classroom Action Research". The subjects of this study were the fourth grade students of SD
Negeri 101799 Deli Tua Timur, amounting to 22 students. The object in this study is the use of Generative learning models to improve science learning motivation. tools collected in data collection are observation sheets .. Based on the results of the study showed that from the number of 22 people that in the first cycle of meeting I the average grade of the students obtained was 44.81 and at the second meeting the average grade obtained by students was 60, 5. Whereas in silus II the first class average value obtained by students is 70.73 and at the second meeting the average grade value obtained by students is 82.59. The number of students who are motivated in each aspect of student learning activities also increases at each meeting. the first cycle of meeting I the number of motivated students was 1 person with a percentage of 4.54% and the second meeting the number of students who were motivated 6 people with a percentage of 27.27%, in cycle II meeting I the number of motivated students was 19 with a percentage of 86.36% and at the second meeting the number of motivated students was 22 people with a percentage of 100%.
