IDENTIFIKASI KERAGAMAN SPECIES CABAI RAWIT (Capsicum frutescens L) BERDASARKAN KARAKTER MORFOLOGI DI KABUPATEN DELI SERDANG

Cayenne pepper is plant perdu that bear fruit and very potential for people’s as well as have a high diversity of morphology. The purpose of this research is to know the morphological diversity of cayenne pepper that found in three subdistricts district deliserdang. The research was conducted with identification of morphology cayenne pepper that includes leaves, stems, root, flower, and fruit. This research process review of the feature and characteristics on the organ of a plant such as shape, size, and color.This research are descriptive with data obtained through
observation directly. Research results showed that of the total measurement data consists of plant height, fruit diameter, fruit long, thick fruit, flesh fruit, and long stalks fruit have a significant difference from each of the 10 sample plants that found in three subdistricts district deliserdang. This is because the taking of each sample cayenne pepper plants does not account for the difference age plants and the environmental conditions thus data measurements plants cayenne pepper (Capsicum frutescens) produced different. The results of the characterization of plant morphology, cayenne pepper (Capsicum frutescens) diversity is not much different. This is a review of the feature and characteristics at any characterization of plants that have been in the identification.
