THE CONSTRUCTION OF PROFESSIONAL EDUCATORS CHARACTER BASED ON EXPERT STANDARDIZATION, FIELD PRACTICE LECTURE AND TUTOR TEACHER IN THE SCHOOL

This research was one of efforts to give shape to idea in promoting educator's quality in Indonesia, that was
started with research producing the Construction of Professional Educator Character Based on Expert Judgment
Standardization, Field Practice Lecturer, and Tutor Teacher in the School. The professional educator character is one of important social education topic in Indonesia including in Medan. Due to educator phenomenon in Medan needs restoration in order to become more professional educator. For this, it is earlier needed similar perspectives about the construction of professional educator character.
The Construction of professional educator character produced in this study was character consisted of dimension
of fundamental character, principal character, and support character. The dimension of fundamental character consisted of sub dimension of loving teaching/educating works. The dimension of principal character consisted of sub dimension of sinsitivity, emphaty, take care, honesty, responsibility, appreciation for others, and ability to maintain good relationship. The dimension of support character consisted of sub dimension of discipline, wisdom, curiosity, following science and technology development. health Life style and pattern, performance, and religiousity. The construction of professional
educator character is broken down to be scale which is useable as reference and instrument of professional educator character or education student.
