Abstract

The aim of this study is to design interactive multimedia as learning media for teaching writing narrative text to the eighth grade students of junior high school. The research method used in this study is Research and Development (R&D). Research Procedures are modified into four steps, they are: evaluation and need analysis, media design, validation. The product has been validated by experts (material and media). The media expert is an English Lecturer and the English teacher. The Instrument for collecting the data is questionnaire. The data are analyzed by using descriptive technique. The research result of this interactive multimedia with the total assessment by experts is 3.75 which is categorized very eligible to be used for teaching writing narrative text for Eighth Grade Students at Junior High School.
