Abstract
This study aims to determine the motivation to learn physics, the influence to creative thinking skills, student learning outcomes in physics and to know the influence of Learning Motivation and creative thinking skills on students' physics learning outcomes in class XI MIPA Madrasah Aliyah Rantau Prapat. This research was conducted in class XI MIPA Madrasah Aliyah Rantau Prapat. Data collection techniques used are through questionnaires, with a total population of 207 students. The sample used in this study was 50 students taken by proportional random sampling technique. Data analysis techniques used are t test and F test, t test is used to determine the influence of each variable learning motivation and creative thinking skills partially on physics learning outcomes. The F test is used to determine the influence of learning motivation variables and the creative thinking skills simultaneously on physics learning outcomes. Before testing the hypothesis, the tests of normality, multicollinearity and heterocedasticity are first tested. Motivation is a process that gives encouragement, direction and perseverance to behavior. That is, motivated behavior is a behavior that is full of energy, directed and lasting. Motivation is related to the impulse found in someone to do something (X1), the cretive thinking skills will help individuals to create creative ideas and solve certain problems in learning physics (X2), learning outcomes can be in the form of changes in cognitive aspects, affective or psychomotor (Y). Through testing hypotheses, there is a significant partial effect between the variables of learning motivation, variables of creative thinking skills on learning outcomes of physics. Though data analysis , the regresion equation with the coeficient of determination (R)2 0f 0,448 (44,8 %). The simultaneous influence of learning motivation variables and the creative thinking skills on physics learning outcomes was also obtained significantly. Thus, it can be concluded that there is a positive partial influence of learning motivation on physics learning outcomes, there is a positive partial influence of creative thinking skills on physics learning outcomes, and there is a positive simultaneous influence between learning motivation and the creative thinking skills on the learning outcomes.
