Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis-jenis tumbuhan Ficus, mengkaji keanekaragaman, pola sebaran, kerapatan dan dominansi tumbuhan Ficus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan di hutan primer Resort Cinta Raja Taman Nasional Gunung Leuser dengan cara analisis vegetasi dengan metode jalur berpetak/ plot, kemudian pengamatan secara langsung dilapangan agar mendapatkan data morfologi jenis Ficus untuk diidentifikasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Februari- Maret 2018. Hasil diperoleh 11 jenis Ficus yang berada di dalam plot sampel penelitian dengan keanekaragaman tumbuhan Ficus tergolong sedang (1,68). Pola sebaran terdiri dari berkelompok (Ficus caulocarpa Miq, Ficus globosa Blume, Ficus heteroplera Blume, Ficus hispida L.f., Ficus recurva Blume, Ficus sagittata Vahl, Ficus variegata Blume) dan menyebar (Ficus aurata Miq, Ficus grossularioides Burm. F, Ficus lepicarpa Blume, Ficus sinuata Thunb). Kerapatan tumbuhan Ficus di hutan primer (30,66) individu /Ha dengan kerapatan spesies Ficus tertinggi ialah Ficus variegata Blume (12,89) individu /Ha. Indeks dominansi tumbuhan Ficus tergolong rendah (0,25) dengan spesies yang mendominasi ialah Ficus variegata Blume sebesar 0,17.
