PHYSICAL EDUCATION AND SPORT, ITS IMPLEMENTATION OF INDONESIA

Education and sports are the most important thing in educating the nation and state, through physical education and sports can create a smart nation. The position of physical education and sports is very strategic in helping the learning process of children in school. Improves psychomotor abilities, cognitive abilities and affective abilities. All can be achieved through physical education and sports activities in the best possible design. Through physical education and sports make people virtuous, have responsibility, ethics, respect and mutual respect. The purpose of writing is to analyze physical education and sports development and its implementation in Indonesia. Benefits of writing is as an early reference to the study of physical education education and sports development and implementation in Indonesia, especially for sports academics, sports practitioners and sports community of Indonesia. In the future the Indonesian Government must have a strong commitment and focus in making physical education and
sports as the necessities of life, the progress and development of physical education and sports in the country have an impact on unifying the nation. Government is the main key, related to national sports planning, policy makers and implementing sportsmanship. Government and related policy makers should be synergistic and appropriate coordination in advancing physical education and sport in Indonesia.
