Abstract
This study aimed to assess the effect of educational level on the unemployment rate as an aspect of human capital. This study analyzed using descriptive statistics and simple linear regression analysis. The results showed that the unemployment rated are influenced by the level of education, especially graduates of universities in Indonesia. Then it is suggested to the Government of Indonesia to pay more attention to policies that do deal with public affairs and macroeconomic namely in the field of education. In addition to the companies that exist in Indonesia is expected to more attention to the welfare of its workers in order to improve labor productivity to benefit the company itself.
