Abstract
The National standardized exam value each year turn to higher. Indirectly this encourages students to study harder. This research aims to find out whether there is a
significant effect of the increase in the standard value of national examinations on mathematics learning achievement students. This study is descriptif qualitatif using random sampling. The data collection tool in the research is the questionnaire instrument and the data of the grade report value. The questionnaire instrument contains 15 items that has been in validation and reliability. The result of t-test analyzed show that
the effect of value national standard examination is 2,23 with phgained 0,00 less than 0,05. This means H0 refused and Ha so there is significant effect of the increase in the standard value of national examination effects the mathematics learning achievement examination at Senior High School is 41%, while 49% is effect by other matters.
