Abstract
There are many influences teachers’performance, one of them is motivation. Motivationis a driver for teachers to provide good performance. The purpose of this study is to test the influence of work motivation on teachers’ performance of vocational high school in Medan. The approach used in this research is quantitative approach in the form of research expost facto. This study uses a questionnaire, prepared and designed to measure work motivation and performance of vocational school teachers.Based on the data analysis indicate that the direct influence of work motivation on the performance of vocational high school (SMK) teachers has a positive implication to achieve high teacher performance in carrying out the tasks assigned to him.
