Abstract

This study aims to know the application of worksheet in learning organism and their environment topic toward student learning outcome of Bilingual Chemistry 2016 class at Faculty Mathematic and Natural Sciences’ Students State University of Medan. A descriptive research design was used to describe the level of student learning outcome based on cognitive, attitude and their process in learning aspect. The populations were all of first semester student academic year 2016/2017 in bilingual department of FMIPA UNIMED. Bilingual chemistry class has chosen as the sample by applying purposive sampling technique. Multiple choices test was the instrument for cognitive data collection and observation was used for attitude and process skill assessment. The result of study showed: (1) The score of students post-test (65.47) was higher than pre-test (46.56); (2) The student attitude aspect, 84.5% was categorized very good in discipline, 72.5% was good in courteous, 64.3% was enough in confident, 73.2% was good in tolerance and 67.5% was enough for student’s teamwork. (3) And 74.3% was categorized as good in process skills aspect in study.
