Abstract
The research problem is the result of learning the dominant lower student, faculty tend to use conventional learning within Currency medode Kulaih Introduction to Management. Generally, this research aims to develop a model of collaborative learning with problem solving approach. Specifically the purpose of this study were 1) to know the initial conditions of learning that can improve learning outcomes Introduction to Management in the Faculty of Economics Unimed, 2) Develop a conceptual model of collaborative learning to improve learning outcomes Introduction to Management in the Faculty of Economics Unimed, 3) Implement Model Collaborative Learning that can boost learning outcomes Introduction to Management in the Faculty of Economics Unimed research subjects are students of the Faculty of Economics who take an introductory course designed Manajemen.Penelitian approach to the stages of development research activities as follows: (1) a preliminary study that is both evaluative and exploratory, to the model pembelajarn previously, (2) Designing conceptual Model, (3) Validation Model, (3) trial conceptual models, (4) Revision of the test results to get a model akhir.Analisis data in this research and development using quantitative descriptive analysis. All data were analyzed with descriptive statistical techniques that quantitatively separated by category for mempetajam assessment in drawing conclusions. Data analysis in research and development is described in three, namely the preliminary study stage, pcngembangan and validation of research results obtained learning model development kolaboratis with problem-solving approach that has been carried out trials of individuals (one on one), small group trial, and trials large groups (classes). From the results of these trials showed that the products produced in the development of collaborative learning model got a very good category
