Abstract
This research aims to examine the factors that influence female labor forces participation in Indonesia’s urban and rural areas. The development of employment in Indonesia can be seen from the participation of its citizen in the labor market. These days, Indonesia has been concerning things about labor forces, especially female labor forces. The data used in this research is micro data, acquired from Survei Angkatan Kerja Nasional (Sakernas) in 2014. Based on the logistic regression result, education level significantly affects the level of female labor forces participation in urban and rural areas in Indonesia, which means the higher education level within female labors, the higher chances for them to participate in the labor market.
