Abstract
This study aims to find out the linguistic landscape of bilingual information in Kualanamu International Airport. It used the theory of Cenoz and Gorter, which use language displayed to define linguistic landscape of given territory and first language on signs; size of text; type of font; amount of information; translation in signs to define the characteristics of the linguistic landscape. In analyzing the data, the research was conducted by using descriptive qualitative method. The data were taken from the bilingual information in Kualanamu International Airport. There were 127 bilingual information in the area of Kualanamu International Airports. There were 126 signs use Bahasa Indonesia and English while only one uses Arabic and English. The bilingual information are distributed in 4 areas, streets 14 signs (11.02%), Parking lots & Outdoors 23 signs (18.1%), First floor 42 signs (33.08%), Second floor 48 signs (37.8%). These bilingual information contributed by 111 Top-down signs (87.4%) and 16 Bottom-up signs (12.6%).
