Abstract

The problem in this research is whether there is influence between social interaction and emotional intelligence to entrepreneurship learning outcomes of students of class XI SMK Negeri 1 Medan T.A. 2016/2017. Thus this study aims to determine the effect between social interaction and emotional intelligence on entrepreneurship learning outcomes of students of class XI SMK Negeri 1 Medan T.A. 2016/2017. This research was conducted at SMK Negeri 1 Medan which is located at Jalan Sindoro no. 1 Medan. The population in this study is all students of class XI-AP in SMK Negeri 1 Medan T.A. 2016/2017. The sampling technique used in this study is proportional random sampling, and instruments used to measure social interaction and emotional intelligence in the form of questionnaires. Test validity was tested using product moment with the result of each social interaction variable and emotional intelligence stated 25 valid questions. Test reliability was tested using the alpha cronbach formula with results for reliability of social interaction of 0.911> 0.329 (rhitung> rtabel) and for emotional intelligence of 0.902> 0.329 (rhitung> rtabel). From the analysis result obtained by multiple linear regression equation Y = 14,283 + 0,486X1 + 0,325X2 + e. Data analysis technique used is t test at significant level of alpha 5%, result obtained show social interaction significantly influence to learning result where thitung> ttable (5,604> 1,692). And emotional intelligence significantly affects the learning outcomes where thitung> ttable (3,514> 1,701). The results obtained in the F test showed that there was a positive and significant influence simultaneously social interaction variables and emotional intelligence on student learning outcomes of grade XI SMK Negeri 1 Medan T.A. 2016/2017 with value Fcount> Ftable (39,537> 3,29). Based on the results of the study can be concluded that social interaction and emotional intelligence affect the entrepreneurship learning outcomes of students of class XI SMK Negeri 1 Medan T.A. 2016/2017.
