Abstract
This study aims to determine whether there is a significant difference from the results of studying of chemistry student MAN Tanjung Morawa which was taught using the model of Problem Based Learning (PBL) and which was taught using cooperative learning model type Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) on the subject of hydrocarbons. The population in this study were all students of class X MAN Tanjung Morawa, The samples are 2 classes as an experimental class, each of which consists of 31 students. The experimental class I was given teaching model Problem Based Learning (PBL) and the experimental class II was taught with the type cooperative learning model of Two Stay Two Stray. The results showed the experimental class I has an average value of post-test 88.10. While the experimental class II has a value average post-test 89.91. Hypothesis testing is done by using test two side tcount > table. So Ha is received, that there is a significant difference between the learning outcomes of students who are taught by applying the model of Problem Based Learning with cooperative learning model Two Stay Two Stray.
