Abstract
This study aims to determine the mechanical properties of nano composite Poliethylene High Density (HDPE) with.Nano Fe3O4 nanoparticle filler particles that have been prepared by coprecipitation method with polyethelene glycol (PEG) 6000 obtained by the size of 31.11 nm mixed with variations (2.4, 6.8)% by weight in the internal mixer tool laboplastomil chamber volume of 60 cc with a rate of 60 rpm for 10 minutes at a temperature of 150o C, with compatibilzer PE-g-MA 2% by weight in order to obtain nano composite nano the results of the characterization of the mechanical properties of composites do so the optimum values obtained for the tensile strength of the composition of 4% by weight, elongation at break of 2%, and a Young's modulus, 8%.
