Abstract
As a subject at school, social science has a strategic position. In the learning process of social science teachers don't do much effort yet that's why most of students can not reach the competency but they only reach the understanding level. Students can only memorize facts, concepts, principle, law, theory and other innovative ideas in their memorizing level and can not use and apply it effectively in solving daily problems. The learning process of social science still tends to teacher centered learning. This condition surely makes the learning process is only mastered by the teachers. Moreover the learning of social science is a subject that full of material so the students are suggested to have a holistic understanding about the material which is explained by the teachers.
