Abstract

Electricity network requires protection against a variety of disorders such as short circuit phases, phase-zero, phase-earth, lightning strikes, and so on. Fault current should be calculated on each section and each level that allows an interruption to determine the characteristics of the equipment needed to overcome the disorder. When a disturbance occurs on the far side of the channel nearest
the relay should operate first with a time shorter than the next relay. The minimum time difference between adjacent breaker about 0-4 seconds.
