Abstract
This study was about the analysis of students achievement in writing AnalyticalExposition text. The purpose of this study was to find out whether Think-Talk-Writestrategy significantly affects on the students achievement in writing Analyticalexposition text This study was carried out at SMA SWASTA AL-FATTAHMEDAN. The populations of this study were the students of grade XI, consisted of students distributed in two parallel classes, they were XI IP A 1 and XI IP A 2. This study used total sample which there were sixty students taken as the samples.The students were divided into two groups namely experimental and control groups.The experimental group was taught by applying Think-Talk-Write strategy while the control group was taught without applying Think-Talk-Write strategy. The result of this study shows that the mean score of students achievement taught by applying Think-Talk-Write strategy (67.53) was higher than the mean score of students achievement taught without applying Think-Talk-Write strategy (63.5). The tobserved(3.43) was higher than ttable (2.00) at the level of significance of 0.05 of two-tailed test. It means that alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted and null hypothesis (Ho) isrejected. Based on the findings of this study, it was found that there is a significant effect of applying Think-Talk-Write strategy on the students achievement in writing Analytical Exposition text.
