Abstract
This research is aimed to determine the effect of inquiry learning model toward student’s learning outcomes in the subject matter of dynamic power in the second half of class X SMA Al Ulum Medan T.P. 2013/2014. This research is quasi-experiment with pretest-posttest contol class (X-5). The instrument used ti determine student learning outcomes are achievement test in the from of 20 multiple-choice questions with 5 options (a, b, c, d, and e) that has been validated by the validator and test predictions. The data obtained are the result of pretest and posttest. Fathermore, the data is analyzed statistically consisting of normality test, homogenety, and hypothesis testing. The results showed that there was a significant effect on the model of inquiry learning toward learning outcomes of students in the subject matter of dynamic power for the class of X SMA Al Ulum Medan T.P 2013/2014.
