THE IMPLEMENTATION OF MEDIA CAMTASIA TO IMPROVE STUDENTS ACTIVITY AND LEARNING ACHIEVEMENTS OF HUMAN REPRODUCTIVE SYSTEM CLASS XI SMA SWASTA AL-ULUM ACADEMIC YEAR 2012/2013

The classroom action research aim to find out the implementation Camtasia Media in improving the students learning achievement and students activity in biology on human reproductive system topic at class XI SMA Swasta Al-Ulum Medan Academic year 2012/2013. The subject of research is all students at class XI IA 1 SMA Swasta Al-Ulum Medan with total number of students are 32. Instrument used this research for knowing the students learning achievement is in a form of test consists of 20 questions in multiple choices while the observation sheet used for knowing the students activity. The result research showed that: (1) the implementation of Camtasia Media can improves the learning achievement on human reproductive system topic. Based on the result of test done in each cycle, the average of students learning achievement value in first cycle was 63 and still low, in the second cycle reach 73 and presented as medium criteria, in the third cycle reach 77.5 and presented as high criteria.. (2) the implementation of Camtasia media can improve the students activity, and the increasing of number students activities in each cycle from the first cycle is 31.78% with low criteria, 43.75% with medium criteria in second cycle, 44.96% with the still medium criteria in third cycle.
