Abstract
This study was aimed to reveal the effect of the organizational culture on innovative behavior, job satisfaction and work motivation. In addition, it was also aimed to reveal the effect of the organizational culture, innovative behavior, job satisfaction, andwork motivation on the vocational school principals performance in Medan. This study used the exploratory survey method involving 102 subject selected using the proportional random sampling technique. The instrument used was a questionnaire. The data were analyzed by utilizing the path analysis. A normality test using the One Sample Kolmogorov-Smirnov test and a linearitytest were carried out. The significance level was 0.05. The findings showed that the organizational culture influenced the vocational school principals performance both directly and indirectly, while innovative behavior, job satisfaction, and work motivation only influenced the principals performance directly. The change in the performance which could be determined directly from the organizational culture, innovative behavior, work satisfaction, and work motivation was 10,24%, 12,32%, 3,42% and 2,92% respectively.
