Abstract

Telah dilakukan Sintesis nanokomposit magnetik elastomer dengan filler partikelnano Fe3O4 dan silicon rubber sebagai matriks. Pasir besi yang diperoleh dari pantai kemudian disintesis menggunakan metode kopresipitasi, lalu disintering dengan variasi suhu. Karakterisasi meliputi XRD, uji mekanik dan VSM. Hasil XRD menunjukkan, pengaruh sintering mengakibatan perubahan ukuran pada nanopartikel Fe3O4 serta perubahan fasa pada suhu 600oC menjadi Fe2O3 serta terjadi perubahan strukstur kristal yaitu trigonal (hexagonal axes). Kondisi optimum diperoleh pada Pasir besi milling dengan nilai magetik remanensi (Mr)= 7.34 emu/g , saturasi (Ms)= 37.84 emu/g dan koersivitas (Hcj)= 319.83 Oe. Nanokomposit Fe3O4 sintering 400oC dengan penambahan 46% silicon rubber menghasilkan modulus elastisitas sebesar 724.95 kPa.
