Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran CIRC (Cooperative Integreted Reading and Composition) pada belajaran PKN di kelas V SDN 107400 Bandar Khalipah T.A. 2013/2014. Adapun yang menjadi rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah Apakah dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Cooperative Integreted Reading and Composition (CIRC) pada mata pelajaran PKN materi pokok Kebebasan Berorganisasi di kelas V SDN 107400 Bandar Khalipah T.A. 2013/2014?Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran PKN dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Cooperative Integreted Reading and Composition (CIRC) pada materi pokok kebebasan berorganisasi di kelas V SDN 107400 Bandar Khalipah T.A 2013/2014.Jenis penelitian yang digunakan ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif yang berguna untuk mengungkapkan kelemahan-kelemahan siswa dalam penguasaan materi. Penelitian ini terdiri dari dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari dua kali pertemuan, dimana dalam setiap siklus terdiri dari 4 tahap yaitu perencanaan, tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SDN 107400 Bandar Khalipah sebanyak 36 orang siswa. Alat pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes dan observasi. Sedangkan analisis data yang digunakan adalah penilaian tes dan penghitungan hasil observasi.Dari hasil tes ini maka, hasil penelitian diperoleh pada saat pre test rata-rata nilai belajar siswa 40 dengan ketuntasan belajar 13,8% atau hanya 5 siswa yang tuntas belajar dengan kriteria dikatakan sangat kurang dan belum tuntas secara klasikal. Kemudian pada post test 1 siklus I rata-rata nilai siswa sebesar 62,22 dengan ketuntasan belajar 55,5% atau hanya 20 siswa yang tuntas belajar dengan kriteria dikatakan cukup dan belum tuntas secara klasikal. Sedangkan pada siklus II post test 2 rata-rata nilai siswa meningkat menjadi 81,94 dengan ketuntasan belajar 91,6% atau 33 orang siswa yang tuntas belajar dengan criteria dikatakan sangat baik atau tuntas belajar secara klasikal.Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran CIRC (Cooperative Integreted Reading and Composition) dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi pokok kebebasan berorganisasi di kelas V SDN 107400 Bandar Khalipah Tahun Ajaran 2013/2014.
