Abstract
This study aims to present developed textbook based on scientific approach to improve student’s scientific attitude in accordance with Badan Satuan Nasional Pendidikan (BNSP)
criteria. Research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method. The development procedures start from analysis stage of the textbooks from various publishers. The next is
design stage of the textbook. Then, development stage of the textbooks includes validation by content and educational experts. Next, the textbook is revised according to the advice of the validators. After revision the textbook that was produced is “Biologi SMA/MA kelas XI Peminatan Matematika dan Ilmu-Ilmu Alam”. The result of the research on the developed
textbook according to BNSP criteria by content expert showed 92.37% of very good criteria and by educational expert showed 79.54% of good criteria.
