Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan : (l) Perbedaan kemampuan awal (pre tes) menulis narasi siswa. (2) Perbedaan kemampuan menulis narasi siswa (pos tes) kelas V SD Bani Adam Medan tahun pembelajaran 2011/2012.Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SD Bani Adam Medan pada semester genap tahun pelajaran 2011/2012. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalaH seluruh siswa kelas V SD Bani Adam Tabun Ajaran 2011/2012. Sampel penelitian diperoleh dengan teknik sampel populasi yaitu dengan mengambil seluruh kelas sebagai sampel penelitian, maka sampel penelitian ini adalah kelas V1 yang berjumlah 36 orang dan kelas V2 yang berjumlah 34 orang sehingga jumlah keseluruhan sampel adalah 70 orang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian quasi eksperimen. Sebelumnya dilakukan uji analisis berupa uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas. Teknik pengumpulan data dijaring dengan menggunakan essay test. Kriteria pemberian nilai tes meliputi organisasi tulisan, terdapatnya ciri-ciri narasi dan terdapatnya struktur narasi.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) tidak ada perbedaan hasil belajar menulis narasi siswa yang diajar dengan strategi pembelajaran Think Talk Write dengan strategi pembelajaran langsung. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan uji beda diperoleh bahwa nilai Thitung 0,120 < 1,997, (2) ada perbedaan hasil belajar menulis narasi siswa yang diajar dengan strategi pembelajaran Think Talk Write dengan strategi pembelajaran langsung. Berdasarkan hasil perbitungan uji beda diperoleh bahwa nilai Thitung 2,256 > Ttabel 1,997. Hal ini sangat sesuai dengan kerangka berfikir yang telab diuraikan sebelumnya. Berdasarkan hasil analisis selama proses penetitian, peneliti mengamati bahwa setiap siswa memiliki kemampuan yang berbeda-beda dalam memahami suatu pelajaran.Berdasarkan perbedaan-perbedaan yang ada, baik secara teoretik maupun yang dibuktikan dengan analisis statistik dalam penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa strategi pembelajaran Think Talk Write memberikan pengaruh yang lebih baik jika dibandingkan dengan strategi pembelajaran langsung terhadap hasil belajar menulis narasi siswa kelas V di SD Bani Adam Medan tahun pembelajaran 2011/2012.
