Abstract

The aim of this research are to know : ( 1 ) the effect of individual task presenting method and group task presenting method to the student aclrievement of Engineering Mechanics II ; ( 2 ) the effect of the high student's entry behavior and low student's entry behavior to the student achievement of Engineering Mechanics II ; ( 3 ) The interuction between task presenting method and student's entry behavior to the student's achievemant of Engineering Mechanics II. The population af this research is the students of Engineering Paedagogy who takes the subject Engineering Mechanics II , and the random sampling are class a with 30 students and class B with 30 students. The method used in the research was quasi experiment with the design factorial 2 x 2, the data analysis used is two ways ANA VA. The student's entry behavior measured with Technique Physical test. The test is multiple choise with 40 questions and the reability is 0,874 using KR-20, there are 34 valid questions. The result shown that ; The flrst student achievement of Engineering Mechanics II. Who taught with individual task presenting method is higher than group task presenting method, where Fh ( 5,28 ) > Ft ( 4,01 ) with the signiflnance rate a= 0.05; The scond, the student achievement of Engineering Mechanics II who has high entry behavior is higher than the student achievement of Engineering Mechanics II who has low entry behavior where Fh ( 136,02 ) > Ft ( 4,01 ) with the signifmance rate a= 0.05; The third, there is an instruction between task presenting method and entry behavior to the student achievemant of Engineering Mechanics II, where Fh ( 13,12 ) > Ft ( 4,01 ) with the signifinance rate a= 0.05.
