Developing an Educaplay E-Worksheet for Vocabulary Learning in Reading Descriptive Text for Seventh Grade Students

This study aimed to develop an Educaplay-based E-Worksheet for vocabulary
learning in reading descriptive texts for seventh-grade students at MTs Negeri 2
Medan. The product was developed based on the results of the needs analysis,
which showed that students needed a more interactive and engaging learning
medium to support vocabulary learning. This study employed the Design and
Development Research (DDR) method using the Borg and Gall model. The
developed product consisted of five interactive activities, namely Riddle, Matching
Pairs, Matching, Fill in the Blanks, and Memory, designed using the Educaplay
platform. The product was validated by two experts, namely a university lecturer
and an English teacher. The validation results showed a mean score of 4.38 with a
validation percentage of 87.60%, which falls into the "Highly Feasible" category.
Therefore, the developed Educaplay-based E-Worksheet was considered feasible
for use without revision and met the established quality criteria as a learning
medium for vocabulary learning in reading descriptive texts.
