HUBUNGAN PENGETAHUAN SUPERVISI DAN SIKAP BERKOMUNIKASI DENGAN KINERJA PENGAWAS DI DINAS PENDIDIKAN ACEH TAMIANG DAN ACEH TIMUR

The objective of the study is to know and describe : (1) The correlation between knowledge of the supervisors and supervision performance of education in both aceh tamiang and east aceh, (2) The correlation between communicative attitude and supervision performance of education in both aceh tamiang and east Aceh, and (3) The correlation between knowledge of the supervisors and communicative attitude simultaneously and the supervision performance of education in both Aceh Tamiang and East Aceh.The population of the study included all the supervisors of education in both Aceh Tamiang and East Aceh of 67 persons. The sempels consisted of 34 persons referring to Surakhmad. The instruments used to collect the data included test and questionnaire using Likert scale. The requirement test included normality, linearlity, and independence of independent variables. The collected data were than analyzed by using a simple correlation and regression and multiple regression in significance level of α = 0.05.The findings of the study showed that (1) There was a positive and significance correlation between knowledge of the supervisorsand the performance of the supervisors with the correlation coefficient of 0.417 and the determination coefficient of 0.173 using the regression equation Y= 76.74 + 0.78X1. (2) There was a positive and significant correlation between communitive attitude and performance of the teachers with the correlation coefficient of 0.421 and the determination coefficient of 0.177 using the regression equation Y = 40.05 + 0.51X2 (3). There was a positive and significant correlation between knowledge of the supervisors and communitive attitude simultaneously and the performance of the supervisors of 62.6%. whereas the effective contribution of the knowledge of supervisors to their performance of 14.9% and the effective contribution of the communitive attitude on the performance of the supervisors of 25.1%
