POLA PENGGUNAAN DAN SIKAP BAHASA CINA DI MEDAN

The objective of this research was to investigate the Chines language attitude and the pattern of usage. This research was carried out in Kota Medan. The method used in of 10 subjects. The instrument of collecting the data by using questionnaire and recording. The datawere analyzed by using descriptive technique in terms of identifying, classifying and interpreting the data. The findings showed that: 1) the Chinese language attitudes of the ten sub-variables revealed: a) unity mean (1,9), b) intimacy mean (2,3), c) familial relationship mean (2,2), d) public situation mean (1,7), e) school office, campus mean (2,0), f) loyalty mean (2,6), g) hospitable and friendly mean (2,8), h) self confidence mean (3,1), i) honesty mean (2,8), education mean(2,8). 2) the Chinese patterns of language usage in terms of occurrence: a) verb (125), b) noun (95), c) adjective(75), d) pronoun (128), e) adverb (25), f) verb pharase (35), g) noun phrase (40), h) adjective phrase (30), i) adverb phrase (10).
